There are no difference between general and academic module of IELTS listening test. They are exactly same format. In terms of each part of test, check the table below:


The only one threat of IELTS listening is that Audio Script will be played only once. There are no way to replay the audio.
So, Listen and Answer.

To improve the listening capability, you can follow the following steps:
01.Target time: 15 days
02.Working with two listening test each day. So, you will be able to cover 30 listening tests.
03.On first day:
     a. First take a full listening test without replay of audio script. DO NOT CHECK WITH     ANSWER SHEET
     b. LISTEN and READ along:Follow the text while you listen. It will help you to understand the pronunciation.
     c. Again take the exam.
     d. Check the both answer sheet and compare your improvement.
     e. Careful regarding SPELLING and Grammar (especially singular and plural)
     f. Repeat the above steps on Next listening test.
04.On next day: Exercise the same practice on another listening tests.
05.Carry on till date of IELTS final exam.
